The great thing about being a book blogger is the amazing books that you get sent to read. The only bad thing about being a book blogger is that you don’t have enough time to keep up with authors that you’ve read and loved in the past. So, when I was invited to be on this blog tour, it was a HELL YEAH!
So what did I think?
I’ve read many of Susan’s books over the years and have loved every one. This was absolutely no exception. A stunning read where the intrigue and that fluttery “you know something bad is going to happen but you’re not sure what” feeling gets you right in the stomach.
Susan created a wonderful character in Olivia! I really warmed to her right from the start. Unlike Richmond who I would quite happily have slapped round the face. And as I read on, I knew there was something going on with him and I loved unfolding the mystery surrounding his situation and how he had handled it.
This is a hard book to review because so much of the plot revolves around something that happens which I don’t want to share because it really will spoil the read, so you’ll just have to read it for yourself.
It’s a brilliantly written, compelling, unputdownable read which had me gripped while reading it and thinking about it when I wasn’t!
Highly recommended and I enjoyed every moment!
